Introduction:
Flash Energy LLC is a Hawaii, renewable energy company specializing in battery based Photovoltaic systems.
At Flash Energy we design, build and sell state of the art PV systems that produce electricity from solar radiation and store the energy in ultra efficient, reliable Lithium Ferro Phosphate batteries.
We utilize closed loop communication between battery cells and the inverter/charger. This closed loop communication protocol is essential for the reliability, efficiency, safety and longevity of lithium battery cells.
We also incorporate MPPT (maximum power point tracking) technology) in our inverters for fast efficient battery charging from the solar panels to the battery bank.
Our electrical distribution systems are NEC compliant and built using the highest industry standards.

Flash Energy incorporates the most advanced and reliable inverter/charger technology available today and has partnered with Sol-Ark a top US inverter manufacturing company with superior technical support, premier operating standards and leading the industry in performance, reliability and safety. Sol Ark inverters carry a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on larger models and 5 years on the smaller units. Sol-Ark inverters are the most versatile and easily programed inverters and are true hybrids with the ability to function on or off-grid, with or without solar and batteries and can be used as UPS systems, can also be AC coupled and are able to be connected to a backup AC generator, either Gasoline, Diesel or propane. Sol-Ark inverters range from 5K output single phase up to 15K split phase, 120/240 or 208. Also available are 30K 3phase 208/240 volt and 60K 480-volt 3 phases. Sol-Ark inverters are wall mounted on custom manufacturer supplied brackets.
Flash Energy is the distributer and servicing agent for SOK batteries in Hawaii. SOK is also a US based company, designing and building the most robust hassle free and reliable lithium batteries currently on the market today. The SOK 48v100 battery is our most commonly used Lithium Ferro phosphate power storage unit which has an advanced BMS (battery management system) allowing for optimum cell balancing and charge/discharge parameters. Each battery has a LCD screen with menu, for scrolling through and observing battery cell health showing cell voltages, charge current and individual cell temperatures. This feature allows for immediate diagnostics and greatly reduces trouble shooting time and battery health maintenance.
SOK batteries have a 10-year warranty and a 20-year design life. The SOK warranty is honored in Hawaii by Flash Energy LLC, meaning that the batteries can be serviced or replaced, on Oahu, instead of having to be shipped to the mainland, which is the case with the majority of Lithium battery manufacturers. SOK batteries integrate seamlessly with Sol-Ark inverters. SOK 48v100 batteries come in 5KWh modules or 100 Amp hors, stackable up to 15 units with a total storage capacity of 75KWh or 1500 Amp hours. The batteries can be mounted on the ground, or custom server rack which holds 5 batteries. 15 batteries would utilize 3 racks side by side.
At Flash Energy, we use top tier Photovoltaic modules of various sizes and power outputs depending on how and where they are mounted. We design and build mobile and stationary systems with a host of different array mounting methods and locations.
We can install systems on Trailers, Vans, trucks, RV’s, boats, Golf carts, Houses, Containers, Storage pods, Car ports and most structures. We can also build ground mounted systems either ballasted low profile or raised up to 12 feet. We also design and build Solar EV charging stations.
Photovoltaic modules come with a 20–30-year manufacturer’s warranty depending on make and model.
